Shawn Cook

Hi there! I’m a web designer in Washington, DC focused on front-end development and user experience. Currently, I’m a web application developer at the National Center for Biotechnology Information.

Professionally, my favorite things include clean markup, complimentary colors and that moment when the pieces of a project come together to form a functional system. My skill set is best described as that of a devigner — I get just as excited about code, templates, version control and clean URL structure as I do about pixels, typefaces, wireframes and the elements of design.
